European gap years program, STF and DONE, have had to adjust their scheduling due to global uncertainty regarding travel. This article provides an update on the scheduling of these programs in the coming year.
STF: On hiatus (2020-2021)
While it was previously announced that the program would be shortened, a recent update has confirmed that the program will go on hiatus for the coming year (2021) due to the continuous changing restrictions and regulations across Europe.
The official announcement from STF:
“Due to the continuous changing of regulations and restrictions about the Corona virus in all the European countries and all over the world, we are sad to announce that the STF program will not be able to begin in January 2021.
We apologize to all the members who really wished to join us, and we are hoping that you can understand the decision taken.
The health and wellbeing of our participants is of great importance to us, and unfortunately due to the current circumstances all over the world, we wouldn’t be able to have a stable and safe program.
We made the decision to postpone the STF Europe program for one year and we will do our best to ensure a new STF program starting in September 2021.
We thank you for your understanding and we wish you health and many blessings looking ahead.”
