This upcoming Sunday our national worship service will be streamed live on YouTube and this article will explain how you can join the service without encountering any complications.
YouTube creators can broadcast content live in real-time. If you see a “Live” icon at the bottom of the video player and under the video title it tells you how many people are “watching now”, then you are watching a live stream.
How to join a YouTube livestream:
- Make sure you have a good internet connection and have logged into your YouTube account.
- Make sure you are subscribed to the FFWPU-UK YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/ffwpuuk. Click the red “Subscribe” button and the bell icon so will be notified whenever there is a live stream or new video posted.
- Scroll down the menu bar on the left and find the “Live” channel.
- Enter the channel you are searching for (FFWPU-UK) and you will find the live stream.
Extra Tip! You can interact with other people watching the live stream by clicking into where it says “Live Chat” and begin typing. Then, click the send icon. Remember the hosts and everyone watching will be able to see your comments so keep them friendly and positive!
If you miss a YouTube live stream you don’t need to worry! The live stream will be uploaded to our YouTube channel as a video once the live stream ends. So, you can catch up at your convenience.
Furthermore, if you arrive late to the live stream you can catch up with what you have missed by using the media player to rewind back to the beginning of the live stream.
We recommend joining 15 minutes before the live stream begins in order to prepare yourself and make everything has been set up correctly.
