Yesterday (19th November 2020), the world lost a wonderful human being – Robert Mwogeza who served for many years as the IRFF Uganda Director.
He was passionately working in the rural areas of Uganda with the Mobile Medical Team, helping local people get rid of the jigger parasite in their limbs, disinfecting their homes, and teaching basic hygiene. He fell ill and was taken to hospital, but sadly didn’t recover due to the underlying medical conditions he had.
Robert was instrumental in overseeing several projects in Uganda running under the banner of IRFF, and worked tirelessly to improve vulnerable peoples’ living conditions over the past twelve years. He was a loyal friend to many, a good father and husband, as well as a dedicated director and supporter of Destiny Junior School, where he expressed his love and care for the many children and staff.
