Using Zoom for the first time:

When you click on the link for the Zoom meeting, your internet browser (on either your computer, smartphone or tablet) will open up the https://zoom.us website and prompt you to download the Zoom conference software (or via your phone/tablets app store).

Once the software has been downloaded, you can open it up, add your name and join the meeting. It should automatically make you join the meeting from the link, but if not, simply click on the link again and when the pop-up asks you to open Zoom, accept and you will now be in the Zoom meeting.
